Paradise Valley · 85253 · Maricopa County
Paradise Valley is the one ZIP in the metro that ranks first for both things we build: the highest-end custom shower and the accessible one. Very often in the same house — a primary suite that has to look like the rest of the property, and a guest suite that has to work for a parent who visits.

Seamless solid-surface panel walls with no joints in them, frameless low-iron glass, warm metal hardware, and a curbless entry when the floor will take one. Low-iron matters more than it sounds: ordinary tempered glass carries a green cast from its iron content, and you see it the moment it sits against a pale stone wall.
The same shower can be built to be safe without looking like it was. That is most of what this company is for.
PV stock runs from 1960s ranch originals through teardown-and-rebuild. In the original houses, expect original mortar pans, galvanized or early copper supply, undersized drains and bathrooms that were generous for 1968 and awkward now. The structural question — whether the floor will take a curbless pan — gets answered at the walkthrough, before anyone talks about finishes.
The Town of Paradise Valley permits and inspects to its own standards, and most properties add privacy, staging and access constraints of their own. That is planning work, and it belongs in the schedule rather than in a surprise.
A curbless entry, a properly anchored grab bar and a bench can all be built into a shower that still looks like the rest of the property. We do that constantly — most often a primary suite and a guest suite in the same house, built to two different briefs.
Every seam in a shower wall is somewhere water gets in and mildew comes back. A seamless solid-surface panel has none of them — no grout lines to scrub, seal, or redo in four years. You wipe the wall down and you are finished.
It also installs faster, and the result does not depend on whether one setter had a good week. This is the only way QC Showers builds a shower. It is a deliberate choice, not a limitation.
John Montiel, QC Plumbing — Arizona ROC #344196, licensed, bonded and insured. A shower is a plumbing job with a finish on it, so the person who sells it should be the licensed plumber who installs it. There is no crew you have never met and no franchise call centre between you and the work.
Paradise Valley · questions we get asked
Maintenance, and where things fail. Every seam in a wall is somewhere water can get behind and mildew can come back, which is why so many showers look tired at four years old and need work at eight. A seamless solid-surface wall has no grout lines at all — you wipe it down and you are finished. It installs faster too, and the result does not depend on whether one installer had a good week. It is the only way QC Showers builds, deliberately.
Most can, but how depends on the floor. On a slab it is either a recess cut into the concrete or a built-up floor with the drain relocated, and that decision is made on site with a tape measure — not over the phone. If the slab is post-tension, which almost everything built in Phoenix after about 1980 is, it gets scanned before anything is cut. Cutting a tendon is a structural repair, not a mistake you absorb.
Continuous solid-surface panel walls in smooth white, grey marble, cream marble or warm stone, frameless low-iron glass, and warm metal hardware. Low-iron glass matters more than it sounds — ordinary glass carries a green cast that changes every colour behind it.
