01 · The Statement
They forget the countertops. They forget the paint. Nobody forgets walking into a shower that goes floor to ceiling in one stone, with no curb to step over and no frame breaking the glass.
02 · Materials
03 · The water
Thermostatic valve so the temperature doesn't move when someone runs the kitchen tap. Separate controls for the rain head and the wand, so you're not choosing between them. Body sprays and steam if you want the whole thing.
04 · Built right, underneath
Full waterproofing membrane, pre-sloped pan, bonded flange, pressure-tested before a single panel goes on. Blocking in the walls at every future grab-bar location — whether or not you want bars today. A licensed plumber owns the whole assembly — AZ ROC #344196.
01 · Safety & Access
Most accessible showers announce themselves the second you open the door. Ours don't. Same finishes, same glass, same panels as anything else we build — with the geometry and the hardware quietly doing their job.
02 · No curb. No step. No lip.
03 · Grab bars
Sold as coordinated three-packs — a long horizontal, a vertical at the entry, and an angled transfer bar. Every one lands in solid blocking installed before the panels go on. A bar screwed to drywall is decoration that fails at the worst possible moment.
04 · Seated, and still in control
Teak or built-in seating sized for a real person. Valve, diverter and handheld placed so they work sitting down — no reaching across hot water, no stepping out to adjust the temperature. Anti-scald limit set and tested at handover.
05 · Now, or in twenty years
Even if nobody needs a grab bar today, we block the walls for it. Adding a bar later becomes a twenty-minute job instead of a demolition. That decision costs almost nothing during the build and is the single most expensive thing to retrofit.
One in four adults over 65 falls each year; falls drive roughly 319,000 hip-fracture hospitalizations annually. Most of them happen in the bathroom. CDC
How it goes
We measure, we price it in writing, we build it with one crew, and we hand it over working. No surprises in the middle.
